About Windy: Windy is 10 years old. He was brought to an open air clinic in 2005 in the mountains of Pistol dying of TB of the bones. He had large nodes all over, feverish, dehydrated and, thin like a pencil. You could see every rib because of his malnutrition. No one expected him to live especially after 18 hours of travel by boat and truck. He amazed everyone with his tenacity to live; every day was a miracle of life. It took months of hospitalization, praying, and a lot of love, but today Windy is another of "God’s little miracles". He is a bright, young, precious boy, who loves church and school and is very grateful for his blessings. He helps with chores, has a great but gentle spirit and is very loveable. He loves to play soccer with his younger cousin Desir, who also resides at New Life.
