About Cherley: Cherley is 12 years old and was born in Pestel, a southern coastal port town. Her parents’ whereabouts or condition, alive or deceased, are not known. She was severely malnourished when she was brought to NLCH in 2000. She enjoys playing basketball and likes to sing. She would like to be a nurse or a doctor. She sat and worked so long and patiently on her drawing, completely absorbed in the process. Birthday: Nov. 6, 1997
