Daniella and Vanessa were also subjects of portraits in my non-profit project "Moni's Kids".
Here I wanted to paint them in a completely different way, reminding us that there is much to be done in Haiti.
Part of the proceeds of this piece will also go back to the children.

-Second Place in the Drawing category at the Texas and Neighbors Five State Exhibition, 2011 -Accepted into the International Association of Pastel Societies 19th Juried Exhibition, 2011
